Objectives:
Flextronics needed to raise its profile as a dominant player in the electronics contract manufacturing space. Although the company is one of the largest in technology, it had very little visibility. As it prepared to take over the number two spot in the industry, it hired Incendio to raise its profile in the top-tier business publications around the world.

Recommendation:
We recommended utilizing Flex's company philosophy and global environment to promote its management style and differentiate its vision for how the electronics manufacturing world is changing into a global practice. We secured international plant tours with key media, and targeted profiles of the company and its CEO, Michael Marks.

Results:
Flextronics saw over 200% increase in coverage in the major business publications, while the price for our services versus the previous agency gave them a 30% reduction in costs. In the years we worked with Flextronics, they were featured in Forbes, Fortune, Time, the New York Times, Business Week, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Singapore Straits Times (Flextronics is headquartered in Singapore), Le Monde, Wired, Fast Company, Industry Week and recently profiled on CNN World News and PBS's Nightly Business Report. Out of this coverage, we have received cover stories in Forbes, the New York Times business section, Wired and Time. Michael Marks also keynoted at the Fortune Global Summit and was a featured speaker at the World Economic Forum. In addition, we secured Michael Marks the opportunity to open the New York Stock Exchange on a significant day for the company’s shareholders.
